This cave is a lava tube formation – the lava once flowed through it. Once the surfaces froze, the center remained empty forming a tunnel. It is near Safawi so it is one of the volcanoes of the Great Horan. There is a small roof that collapsed, forming the entrance through which we go in. The regular flooding has filled the tube with debris making the length of the tube no more that 600m but with a second floor and at least 100m of crawling on you face.
